No surveys showing up? Here's some reasons why

Updated over 8 months ago

Wondering where all the surveys are hiding? Don't worry, they haven't formed a super secret cool kids club you weren’t invited to. Rather, there might not be any available for you. This can be frustrating, but there are a few reasons why this happens. Let’s dive into why your surveys might be playing hide-and-seek...

You've completed all the available surveys

One possible reason why you are not seeing any surveys available is because you have completed all the surveys that are currently available. Our survey providers are constantly updating and creating new surveys, so it is possible that new surveys will become available soon.

Not matching any survey profiles

Our surveys are managed by our research providers, who control who receives which survey. They have specific criteria to target for each survey. These criteria can include demographics such as location, age, and gender. For example, they may specify that a survey on sunbathing in retirement may only be available for users over 60 years old in locations with warmer climates.

If you don't see any surveys available, it is likely because our survey providers have only made them available to people who match specific demographics. This means that unfortunately, you may not be eligible to participate in those particular surveys and they won't show up for you.

However, this does not mean that you will never be able to participate in surveys. Our survey providers are constantly updating and creating new surveys, so it is possible that new surveys that match your demographics will become available soon.

Blocked by survey providers

The survey providers have their own systems for validating legitimate survey submissions. These systems use various signals to detect poor submissions but some common triggers include completing surveys faster than possible, using gibberish or ChatGPT in the text responses, and/or providing conflicting or false information on the survey.

Unfortunately, we don't have any visibility into how these blocks are applied. We cannot see even if there is a block applied to a particular account. So we don't have any tools to troubleshoot or undo blocks. If you complete your surveys thoroughly and honestly, you should have nothing to worry about.
