Like that one sock in the laundry or the TV remote when you need it most, we all hate it when things go missing. We know you're excitedly waiting for your rewards.
Most offers grant their rewards within 60 minutes or sooner. Our system grants rewards as soon as we receive confirmation that the offer was completed from the offer provider. On rare occasions, it may take longer than an hour.
Here are some reasons why...
It takes longer for the offer to process
Some offers take longer to process due to server delays and unique factors. For most offers, we share our best estimate for how long it will take on the offer details. That way folks have an idea of when to expect the rewards.
Some offers may take longer to process due to unique situations with how their tracking works. Some offers only send completion data to RevU once a day; those offers won't credit until the next day if they have already been sent for the day. Offers that require that you make a purchase may credit after the payment has been fully processed or the order has shipped, which can take a few days.
Some have interesting and specific situations. For example, banking offers that require making a deposit often won't process over the weekend when banks do not process deposits.
All the offer requirements haven't been met
The offer won't be credited unless all the offer requirements are met. Some offers have multiple requirements, like reach level 15 and defeat the dragon.
Do you meet eligibility for the offer? If you previously had an account with the offer provider or someone else in your household already completed this offer, then the offer will likely not credit.
Did you wait too long to complete the offer? All offers must be completed within 30 days. Many offers have more stringent requirements for how soon you must complete it (e.g. within 5 or 7 days). After the allocated time to complete the offer has passed, the offer expires and it will no longer track any activity.
The offer stopped tracking to your RevU account
There are some cases where the offer is completed, but the tracking is not associated with your RevU account, and therefore we never receive the confirmation that the offer was finished successfully. Here are some common scenarios where this happens...
Blocked cookies: If cookies are blocked on your device, it can prevent the tracking system from recognizing your activity.
Changing devices: If the offer was started on one device but completed on another, the tracking will not register correctly on the new device.
Using a VPN or other tools that change network traffic: Network traffic from these sources is often discarded by the offer providers' system. Never use a VPN when completing an offer because it usually guarantees that the tracking will fail. It's also against the rules.
Changing your device or advertising IDs: This will break the current campaign tracking and won't track the completion to your device.
Tracking Opt-In: For iOS apps, it's essential to opt-in to tracking if an app asks you to. If this option was not selected when prompted, the activity will not be tracked properly.
Not using the RevU link: Activity will not be tracked as part of the RevU campaign and will not issue credit if the user did not use the link in their RevU offerwall. This can also happen if you start the offer with the RevU link but later access the offer's service via a link from Google, Instagram, or another method that may have tracking under a different campaign.
