TL;DR: no
Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) have become increasingly popular in recent years. These days, you can’t click on a YouTube video without hearing, “This video is sponsored by ______ VPN." With such mainstream exposure, you might assume VPNs are okay to use everywhere.
However, using a VPN with RevU is strictly prohibited and can result in account termination.
Why is this the case? The answer lies in the technology used by RevU and our offer providers. In order to ensure that users are meeting the necessary qualifications for offers and to prevent abuse, we rely on specific technology and tracking methods. When a user connects to the internet through a VPN, it can interfere with this technology and prevent us from accurately tracking offer completions.
Additionally, using a VPN can also lead to denied rewards. Many offer providers have anti-fraud systems in place that will not credit offers if they detect that a user has completed the offer while connected to a VPN.
